According to the Calendar issued by the SSC for the year 2016
a recruitment notification for combined recruitment
for Hindi Translator Examination is issued on 02/04/2016. Candidate can apply for the posts from the
date of Online registration opened till the last date through online
registration process. Last date of application may be changed depending on the
condition.

Who Can Apply?
A citizen of India, A subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan,
a Tibetan refugee and a person with Indian origin migrated from various
countries. A candidate must be graduated or Pass out with required qualification
from any central or State recognised University or Institutes.
Required
Qualification Details:
To apply for this post a Candidate must possess the required
qualification as per follows:
For Posts 1- 4: Master’s
Degree From recognised University in Hindi with English as a Compulsory or
elective subject or Master’s Degree From
recognised University in English with Hindi as a Compulsory or elective subject
or Master’s Degree From recognised
University in Any Subjects with Hindi as a Compulsory or elective subject and
English Medium and Vice versa. And Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in
Translation in Hindi to English and Vice Versa and 2 Years of experience.
For post 5 Senior
Hindi Translator: Master’s Degree From recognised University in Hindi with
English as a Compulsory or elective subject or Master’s Degree From recognise University in English
with Hindi as a Compulsory or elective subject or Master’s Degree From recognised University in Any
Subjects with Hindi as a Compulsory or elective subject and English Medium and
Vice versa. And Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in Translation in Hindi
to English and Vice Versa and 3 Years of experience.
For Post 6 Junior
Hindi Translator: Master’s Degree From recognized University in Hindi with
English as a Compulsory or elective subject or Bachelor degree with Hindi and
English as Main Subjects.
For post 7 i.e. Hindi
Pradhyapak: Bachelor degree in Hindi with English as one of the main
subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from recognized
university or Institute Plus Master’s degree in any subject from Recognized University
Plus B.ed From any recognized University and Vice Versa. Desirable 2 years teaching
Experience.
Age Limit:
To
apply for this post a candidate may not exceed 30 years as on 01.01.2016.
Age limit relaxation will be as per the Gov. Norms.
OBC (NCL): 3 years of Age Relaxation (NCL certificate should
be issued in prescribed format not older than 3 years from the date of
Notification issued)
SC/ST: 5 years of age Relaxation
PH: 10 years
PH+OBC: 13 years
PH+ST/SC: 15 years
Examination Fee
Details:
All OBC and UR male candidates have to pay a rupees of Rs.100 through
Net Banking/Debit card/ SBI challan for completion of the registration process.
A women candidates, ST/SC or PH candidates and ex-servicemen may not need to
pay any fee for the registration

How to Apply:
Candidates may apply for the posts mentioned above through
Online Process. There are two level registrations for on line Application. Part
I registration and Part II registration. Part I registration simply for giving basic
details about yourself and part II registration is for Uploading your Photograph,
Signature and Fee payment details. After the successful completion of Part I
registration candidate will be given a registration ID and a chalan for fee payment
(optional if you want you can pay through debit/credit/net banking). With this
registration ID and Password (many times is may be your date of Birth)
candidate may enter for part II registration. Before proceeding for Part II
registration Keep ready your softcopy of scanned Passport size photo and
Signature as per required Size and JPG format.

Height-120 pixel , Width -100 Pixel)

Examination Date:
As per the Annual Exam calendar issued by the staff
selection commission the exam date for Combined
recruitment for Hindi Translator Examination will be conducted in two
papers in a same day. This exam dates
may vary depending on various conditions.

Admit cards for combined
recruitment for Hindi Translator Examination will be issued tentatively from
May. Candidates may download the Admit card form the online website of the
Staff selection commission.
Selection Process:
The Selection process for this post is purely based on written
Examination. Candidates will be selected on the merit basis. There will be a written
examination of 400 marks which includes 2 papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both
paper 1 and paper 2 will be of 200 marks each.
Paper 1:
Paper 1 will be of Objective type containing General English and general Hindi Subjects with total mark of 200. And Exam duration for Paper 1 is 2 Hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 in each wrong question.

The Exam copies of paper 2 of Candidates will be checked
only if candidates get minimum qualifying marks in paper 1. Minimum qualifying
